Dear Waterside Homeowners and Residents,
We hope everyone is enjoying their summer! We’re excited to share some updates and important information with you.
Firstly, our fountain has been successfully repaired, and new digital timers have been installed for both the fountain and its lights. This upgrade ensures the fountain and lights will operate consistently. We are also in the process of getting a quote to replace the timer for the sign lights with a digital timer.
We’ve spoken with our landscape company regarding the issue with the sign on the north side of the entrance, where the hedge has grown too tall and is blocking the lights. They are working to correct this without damaging the plants by trimming them back gradually.
Earlier this month, Orange County came out to spray for mosquitoes following complaints from homeowners. We hope this has helped to reduce the mosquito problem and makes outdoor activities more enjoyable. We are also looking into stocking the ponds with gambusia, which will help further reduce the mosquito population in the neighborhood.
Thank you to everyone who completed the resident survey. Your feedback is invaluable to us and we are reviewing the results and taking them into consideration as we move forward.
Unfortunately, we were unable to hold a board meeting this month due to conflicting schedules. However, we hope to be back on track with our in August.
Lastly, we’d like to remind everyone that yard waste should not be placed at the curb until the evening before pickup day, which is Thursday. It should not be sitting out for days, especially over the weekend. This helps keep our neighborhood looking neat and tidy.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain the beauty and standards of our community.
Best regards,
Waterside HOA Board of Directors
